Homak is a long-standing manufacturer of tool storage and security solutions, founded in Chicago in 1947 by Sigmund H. Danziger. The company started as a maker of steel kitchen cabinets, then expanded in the 1960s into hardware products such as toolboxes and tool cabinets. After 1979, Homak continued to grow into new markets, and in 2005 the brand entered a new chapter following its acquisition by JVA and relocation of its headquarters to western Pennsylvania.
