- Horsepower Rating
- "Peak Horsepower" (PHP) is a term used in the wet-dry vacuum industry for consumer comparison purposes. It does not denote the operational horsepower of a wet-dry vacuum but rather the horsepower output of a motor, including the motor’s inertial contribution, achieved in laboratory testing. In actual use, Shop-Vac motors do not operate at the peak horsepower shown.
- CFM (Cubic Feet Per Minute)
- CFM is a measure of the quantity of air moved by the vacuum motor at a particular system load, such as 2-1/2-in. orifice. Your actual system load is determined by the type, size and length of the hose used, the accessory tool used and the filter system used. A dirty filter system can drastically affect the suction and air flow. The filters need to be cleaned regularly and replaced as necessary to avoid reduced suction and air flow.
- SP (Sealed Pressure)
- Suction pressure represents how far up a glass tube a vacuum motor will lift a column of water. This function is measured in inches. Maximum suction pressure or sealed water lift is obtained at zero air flow. Suction pressure decreases as air flow increases.
- Vacuum Performance
- Vacuum performance or air power is the rate of work performed by a vacuum cleaner. Air power is a function of suction and air flow at an operating point. Air power is reduced by dirty filters, leaks and attachments used.

This is a Plus Shipping item which only can be shipped to destinations within the 48 contiguous United States. Alaska, Hawaii, and any/all US territories and international orders are excluded.

UPS Shipping rates are calculated based on actual and dimensional weights. To find your rate, add the item to your cart and then enter your zip code into the right hand side of the shopping cart. If your total UPS order is over 120 lbs, the system will not calculate charges.

If no signature is requested and the package goes missing after delivery, we cannot be held liable for the loss. Failure to notify us within this timeframe may result in a forfeiture of claims, as delayed reporting significantly reduces the chances of locating a misdelivered package. - Who/Use: Original purchaser only; non-transferable; normal household use in accordance with the User Manual.
- Term: Starts on purchase date and continues for the product’s useful life (ends when unusable for reasons other than defects).
- Remedy: Replacement of defective parts or the entire product, at Shop-Vac’s discretion.
- Not Covered: Accessories and filters; commercial use; misuse or careless handling; normal wear and tear; use of non-genuine filters/accessories; unauthorized repairs/alterations; products purchased/used outside the U.S. or Canada.
- Claim Requirement: Proof of purchase.
Limited Home Use Warranty:
- Products: 20-volt batteries, chargers, and internal-battery products.
- Term: 2 years from purchase date.
- Remedy: Replacement of defective parts or the entire product, at Shop-Vac’s discretion.
- Not Covered: Commercial use; misuse or careless handling; normal wear and tear; unauthorized repairs/alterations; products purchased/used outside the U.S. or Canada.
- Claim Requirement: Proof of purchase.
1 Year Limited Home Use Warranty:
- Products: Selected Shop-Vac vacuum cleaners used in normal household applications per the User Manual.
