The STE-M Tire Siping Machine is engineered to handle both non-mounted and mounted tires with one versatile unit. For non-mounted applications, it accommodates optional expandable rims (13 in. to 24.5 in.) that fit securely over the machine’s standard expanding hub.

When siping mounted tires, the expandable hub swings aside, allowing the wheel to be equipped with the proper adapter, rolled into position, and processed. In either setup, a tire can be mounted, siped, and removed in just 3 to 4 minutes. It works on new, re-capped, or used tires that have at least 5/32 in. of tread remaining.
